Paytm Consolidates Payments Business After RBI License
Paytm parent One 97 Communications has transferred its entire offline merchant payment business, including QR codes and Soundboxes, to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Paytm Payments Services Ltd (PPSL). This key restructuring follows PPSL receiving the final Payment Aggregator license from the RBI, which now allows the subsidiary to resume onboarding new merchants and align all payment operations under one regulated entity for efficiency.
