Pixxel-led Consortium Bids ₹0 to Build India’s 12-Satellite EO Constellation, Investing ₹1,200 Cr Privately

A consortium led by Pixxel—alongside SatSure, PierSight, and Dhruva Space—won the IN-SPACe contract to build India’s first fully indigenous commercial Earth Observation (EO) satellite network by submitting a zero-cost bid, opting not to accept the ₹350 crore PPP support. Instead, they’re committing to invest ₹1,200 crore from their own funds to deploy 12 satellites (optical, multispectral, hyperspectral). The project will serve defense, agriculture, urban planning, and international markets.
