Power Grid to Lead Into Data Centre Biz With Separate Telcom Business

<p>The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. is now separating its telecom division. Additionally, the CERC has granted permission to the state-owned power transmission firm to run data centers. The decision is made just as the telecom industry is stepping up nationwide 5G service. The national rollout of 5G in the next two years has been announced by telecom operators.</p>
