OpenAI has been issued warrants valued at an estimated $5.5 billion in power infrastructure firm SB Energy, according to draft IPO documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. SoftBank-backed SB Energy, which is preparing to file for an IPO seeking to raise up to $7 billion, granted the warrants to OpenAI as the ChatGPT maker expands investments into energy and data center projects.
