Black Hills Corp. has signed definitive agreements to power Google's planned data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The utility will invest $1.8 billion between 2027 and 2029 in new natural gas generation and a private microgrid. Structured to shield existing consumers from rising expenses, the project aims to deliver up to 590 megawatts of grid service while fueling long-term corporate growth.
