Quick-commerce platforms are gearing up for the festive season by ramping up their temporary workforce by 40–60%, according to staffing firms. With quick-delivery orders expected to double—potentially accounting for 10% of total e-commerce volume during the 30–35-day festival period—these platforms are mobilizing 80,000–100,000 gig workers across roles like pickers, packers, delivery partners, and support staff in software, analytics, compliance, and procurement.
