RBI investigates MobiKwik for data breach

<p>Payments provider MobiKwik is under investigation by the RBI for an alleged data breach of details of 3.5M users. The company has submitted a forensic report with details of the breach to the RBI. The hack was reportedly carried out by group Jordandaven, who emailed the database link to PTI claiming that they only planned to extort money before deleting it. Data leaked included customer names, phone numbers, bank account details etc.<br />
