Reddit to invest $1M to fund finest ideas, competitions

<p>Reddit announced this week that it is extending its Community Funds program, with plans to spend $1M on various projects across the network. In its release, the firm stated, &quot;We will urge communities to contribute ideas for projects, events, contests, donations, basically anything you can think of to bring people together for inspiration and delight.&quot; Reddit will begin awarding grants in June, with requests ranging from $1,000 to $50,000.</p>
