Rising inflation, new regulations lead Apple to raise prices of App Store in parts of Europe, Asia

<p>Apple Inc. is set to raise the prices on its App Store and for in-app purchases in some parts of Asia and Europe as early as October 5. In a blog post on Tuesday, Apple announced that all countries using the Euro, Sweden, Poland in Europe, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Korea, Vietnam in Asia, and Chile in South America will see the price hike. This price hike is commensurate with the falling value of currencies vs. the US Dollar, owing to mounting inflation, and energy prices.</p>
