Rupee AI: Anthropic Debuts Local Pricing for Claude in India

Anthropic has introduced Indian Rupee pricing for Claude AI, targeting its second-largest global market. The Claude Pro plan is priced at ₹2,000 per month (billed annually), Team plans start at ₹2,399 per seat monthly, and the high-end Claude Max costs ₹11,999 per month. While card and app store payments are active, UPI is not yet supported. Concurrently, free Claude Fable 5 access has been extended to July 19.
