Russia introduces its first 5G network

<p>MTS, Russia's leading telecom operator has finally launched the country's first 5G network for trial use in Moscow. It is being introduced in 14 locations and a 4.9 GHz spectrum band is provided for the highspeed internet network services. Unlimited 5G Internet with a speed of 1.5Gb per sec, however, is only available to a few selected users who possess a 5-G compatible smartphone.</p>
