Salesforce announces strict new policies for employees after activist pressure

<p>Salesforce, one of the world's largest software companies, has introduced a new set of policies for its engineers and salespeople after facing pressure from activists. The policies require employees to disclose any work they do for government agencies or customers that violate Salesforce's ethical standards, such as facilitating the sale of guns. Additionally, the company will now require employees to sign a "declaration of values" and to undergo ethics training.</p>
