Samsung and SK Hynix Partner with OpenAI for Advanced AI Infrastructure
Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have entered strategic agreements with OpenAI under the "Stargate" initiative to enhance AI infrastructure. The partnerships aim to increase DRAM production to 900,000 wafers per month and explore building AI data centers outside Seoul. Additionally, Samsung and SK plan to integrate ChatGPT Enterprise and OpenAI API tools into their operations to improve internal workflows and spur innovation.
