Samsung announces new chip R&D center, to invest $15B by 2028

<p>Samsung Electronics announced the construction of a new semiconductor R&D facility in South Korea. It intends to invest roughly 20T won ($15B) by 2028 in order to advance semiconductor technology leadership. According to Samsung, the new center will oversee cutting-edge research on next-generation gadgets, memory, and system chip processes, as well as the creation of new technology based on a long-term roadmap.</p>
