Samsung launches first-ever Zoned namespace SSD for enterprise servers 

<p>Samsung has announced the launch of the first-ever Zoned namespace SSD targeting enterprise servers. PM1731a is the new SSD that features a 2.5-inch form factor, dual ports, and will be available with either 2TB or 4TB storage. It is made using Samsung&#39;s 6th-gen V-NAND. Data with similar frequency and access type in ZNS is stored in the same zone. The new SSD can achieve a write amplification factor and has a 4x lifespan.</p>
