Samsung To Invest Rs 400 Cr In Tamil Nadu Plant To Manufacture 5G, 4G Equipment

<p>Samsung intends to invest Rs 400 crore to begin producing 5G and 4G radio equipment at its site in Tamil Nadu, as an official said. Samsung is the newest international gear manufacturer to join the government's telecom equipment production-linked incentive (PLI) program. This will be its first investment in the country's telecom gear industry, where it will join Nokia and Jabil (Ericsson) in producing 5G equipment.</p>
