Shell appoints Vijay Kannan as CIO

<p>Oil and Gas company Shell has appointed Vijay Kannan as their IT General Manager (CIO) - Global Lubricants, Sectors and Decarbonisation and B2B Customer. Kannan will be responsible for delivering IT strategy for business and enabling a "customer-back" approach. Having over 18 years of experience, Kannan has worked with Unilever for 14 years and will be responsible for leading a diverse team to solve problems transitioning into a low-carbon future.<br />
