Sify's data centre business to get ₹1000cr investment

<p>The data centre business of Sify Technologies will get a ₹1000cr investment from a distressed assets-focused fund promoted by a Kotak Mahindra Bank arm. The investment will be used to build data centres in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad and also to invest in renewable energy assets. The investment will be done in compulsorily convertible debentures, which will convert into equity based on operational performance.<br />
