Silicon Split: OpenAI Severing Ties with SpaceX-Owned Cursor

OpenAI announced plans to terminate access to its AI models for Cursor, the AI coding platform recently acquired by Elon Musk's SpaceX. Citing past contract violations by Musk’s companies and concerns over terms-of-service compliance, OpenAI set a termination deadline of November 12, 2026. Musk dismissed the decision, while competitor Anthropic pledged to step in to provide computing capacity.
