SK Telecom Fined After 27 Million‑Record USIM Breach, Faces Stronger Cybersecurity Oversight
South Korea’s Ministry of Science & ICT penalized SK Telecom with a ~₩30 million fine and mandated quarterly security reviews after a malware-driven breach exposed 26.96 million USIM records this April.
