Smartphone sales may rebound with arrival of 5G

<p>The current 5G auctions may be able to revive India's smartphone market, which is now seeing an unheard-of decline. Starting in October, the rollout of 5G services will take place in stages. In a report released, market researcher Counterpoint Research noted that India's smartphone industry experienced shipments decline for the fourth consecutive sequential quarter, to 37M units in the June quarter, a 5 percent decrease from the March quarter.</p>
