Snapchat Caps Free Cloud Storage, Launches Paid “Memories” Plans
Snapchat is ending unlimited free storage by capping free Memories at 5 GB. Users exceeding this limit will need to upgrade to paid storage tiers: 100 GB starting at $1.99/month, 250 GB with Snapchat+, or 5 TB under a Platinum plan. Snapchat offers a 12-month grace period for users over the limit and lets users export their data before deletion.
