India’s data centre investments saw a strong resurgence in multi-city strategies, capturing over 85% of funding commitments in H1 2026. While traditional hubs like Mumbai and Chennai continue to lead in capacity, investors are expanding across emerging markets like Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Driven largely by AI demands and hyperscaler growth, total sector commitments have surged past $173 billion since 2021.
