Tata Electronics has commenced assembly of iPhone 16 and 16e models at its Hosur facility, marking a significant expansion from producing enclosures to full-scale smartphone manufacturing. Following acquisitions of Wistron and Pegatron's Indian operations, Tata aims to become a key player in the global supply chain, traditionally dominated by Taiwanese firms like Foxconn.
