TCS Reports ₹1,135 Crore Restructuring Expense in Q2 FY26 Amid Workforce Reduction
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a one-time restructuring expense of ₹1,135 crore in Q2 FY26, impacting its net profit, which stood at ₹12,075 crore. This restructuring, part of a plan to reduce approximately 12,000 employees, led to a significant decrease in headcount by nearly 20,000 employees during the quarter. Despite these challenges, TCS achieved a revenue of ₹65,799 crore, reflecting a 3.7% sequential increase.
