The Big AI Rush: Ambition Outpaces Reality

Adobe's 2026 AI and Digital Trends Report reveals that nearly 78% of businesses expect autonomous AI agents to manage their customer support within 18 months. However, a major readiness gap exists: only 16% have deployed the technology company-wide, and 75% face data integration hurdles. Additionally, while half of firms expect customers to prefer AI agents, only 19% of consumers agree.
