Thoma Bravo to Acquire Verint Systems in $2 Billion All-Cash Deal, Combining It with Calabrio
Private equity heavyweight Thoma Bravo has agreed to acquire customer experience platform Verint Systems in an all-cash deal valuing the company at approximately $2 billion, including debt. Shareholders will receive $20.50 per share, an 18% premium over the recent average trading price. The acquisition comes as Verint is increasingly AI-driven, with 50% of its annual recurring revenue now tied to AI. Post-acquisition, it will be merged with Thoma Bravo’s existing portfolio company, Calabrio.
