Truemeds, a Mumbai-based online pharmacy, raised $85 million in funding led by Accel (with participation from Peak XV and existing backers), boosting its valuation from around $110 million to over $400 million—a 3.6-fold increase. The startup stands out by recommending affordable generic alternatives, achieving 66% year-over-year revenue growth to ₹5 billion (~$57 million), serving 500,000 monthly users across over 20,000 pin codes.
