Twitter expands 'flag tweets' feature to Brazil, Spain, Philippines

<p>Twitter will roll out a test feature that allows users to report misleading content on the platform to Brazil, Spain, and the Philippines. The feature went live in Aug 2021 for users residing in the US, Australia, and South Korea. The company received approximately 3M reports from users who used it to flag tweets. In 2021, the social media giant launched another program called Birdwatch, which allowed users to write notes&nbsp;and provide context to misleading tweets.</p>
