Uber might accept cryptocurrencies as payment option in near future

<p>Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber, said that while this is not the right time but at some time in the future, Uber will accept cryptocurrencies as a payment option. This will see Uber join companies like Microsoft which accepts Bitcoin as payment on its app. Khosrowshahi clarified that the main reason for not adopting the payment now as he is not in favor of the environmental impact of mining crypto which affects the energy grid as well as the high exchange rate of crypto.<br />
