Unclogging the AI Bottleneck: TSMC Doubles Down in Chiayi to Feed Nvidia’s Tech Appetite

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) is adding two more advanced packaging plants to its Chiayi Science Park hub in southern Taiwan. Bringing the site's total to four facilities, this phase-two expansion aims to resolve severe supply bottlenecks for next-generation hardware. Once fully running, the four-plant complex is projected to generate over $9.35 billion in annual output and create more than 9,000 jobs.
