Venture Capital Shift: Late-Stage Funding Crunch Explained
Verlinvest CEO Roberto Italia stated that the current dip in late-stage startup funding is mainly due to a "supply-side" reduction in available capital, not a drop in demand. The Belgium-based investment firm, backed by the AB InBev family, is sharpening its focus on India. Verlinvest plans to double its annual deployment in the country to about $200 million, targeting investments across early and growth-stage companies.
