Virgin Orbit Furloughs Staff as Launch Market Slows

<p>Virgin Orbit, the satellite launch company founded by billionaire Richard Branson, has reportedly furloughed a significant portion of its staff as the satellite launch market slows down. The company is said to have informed employees of the furloughs in a memo on Tuesday, citing “an unexpected lull in the launch market” as the reason for the decision. The furloughs come just a few weeks after Virgin Orbit successfully launched its third commercial satellite.</p>
