VMware to cut off Lastline's 40% workforce after acquisition

<p>After acquiring firms like Nyansa and Octarine, VMware is now going to acquire another network security firm, Lastline. Deal between the two is expected to close by July and as a part of it, VMware is planning to lay-off Lastline’s 50 employees. While this acquisition will enable VMware for secure cloud deployment, it will allow Lastline to bring wider range of security solutions to the market.</p>
