Vodafone and Altice Launches German broadband Provider Valued Around 7 Billion

<p>France's Altice and Britain's Vodafone founded a joint venture with the goal of competing with Deutsche Telekom and constructing a $6.8 B fiber broadband network in Germany. According to Vodafone, the FibreCo partnership would create a "fiber-to-the-home" broadband network that will be accessible to 7 million German homes. This will enable the British operator to upgrade its current network in Germany, which is its largest market.</p>
