Volkswagen, Bosch begin cooperation on automated driving after approval from German cartel office

<p>The German cartel office stated on Monday that Volkswagen and Bosch may start working together to develop automated driving technologies, adding that it will continue to watch the companies' collaboration. VW and Bosch's collaboration is covered by European R&D regulations, which the office claimed shielded it from a cartel prohibition. Several other IT and automobile companies are currently developing comparable technology.</p>
