Volkswagen Extends AWS 'Factory Cloud' Deal to Slash Production Costs

Volkswagen has renewed its five-year partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to strengthen its Digital Production Platform (DPP) — the “factory cloud” — now deployed across 43 of its 114 global manufacturing sites. This AI-powered cloud infrastructure optimizes assembly workflows and operational efficiency, with expected savings in the tens of millions of euros in the medium term.
