Walmart orders 4,500 Canoo EVs for last-mile delivery

<p>Walmart announced that it had reached an agreement with Canoo, an electric vehicle startup-turned-SPAC to purchase 4,500 all-electric delivery cars. An official disclosed these are legally binding pre-orders, starting with the "Lifestyle Delivery Vehicle" that bears the Canoo name. Walmart aims to purchase 10,000 units under the terms of the deal. It will transport online orders in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro region using a few pre-production EVs.</p>
