WFH trend resulted in growth for Avast

<p>Avast witnessed a growth in its revenue and earnings in the Q2 of 2020 as people shifted to WFH during the pandemic. Its revenue touched $892.9 mn last year, a 7.1% rise on an organic level alone, with the core earnings reaching $495.5 mn which was 2.6% higher. The demand for its security, protection and privacy software surged but it only lasted for a quarter. Avast had almost 1 mn new paying customers which was a 7.9% increase to 13.6 mn last year.</p> <p> </p>
