Wipro to acquire BFSI solution provider Encore Theme for Rs 95 cr

<p>Wipro has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Encore Theme Technologies, a specialist in providing SaaS and cloud solutions to financial institutions across the MEA, India and the Asia Pacific. The Chennai-headquartered company implements solutions, developed by one of the world’s largest fintechs - Finastra. The acquisition, which will be completed by Dec 31, will help strengthen Wipro's position as a dominant player in implementing Finastra solutions.</p>
