YouTube’s weeklong experiment testing viewer patience comes to an end

<p> </p> <p>Last week, YouTube conducted an experiment where some of the longer videos on the platform were embedded with long ads which could not be skipped. The videos when played on connected TVs would show up to 10 unskippable ads before or during the playback. However, according to a YouTube official’s statement, this experiment has concluded and was conducted for a week. YouTube offers a Premium subscription to viewers which entails ad-free viewing among other perks.</p>
