Zepto co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha has accused a rival company's CFO of orchestrating a smear campaign by disseminating false information to investors, media, and on social platforms. Palicha claims the competitor shared fabricated data and employed bots to amplify negative narratives. He defended Zepto's financial health, highlighting a surge in monthly gross order value from ₹750 crore in May 2024 to ₹2,400 crore, a 2,000 basis point improvement in EBITDA, and a 65% reduction in cash burn.
