Zoom extends end-to-end encryption feature for all users
<p>Zoom announced that it is offering its end-to-end encryption feature for all its users, free and paid ones. It was earlier limited only to paid version as the firm wanted to work with law enforcement if someone uses its platform for illegal activities. Prior to accessing the E2EE feature, free users will have to get themselves verified with phone numbers. Risk-based authentication will also be implemented. Users will get option to enable/disable the E2EE.</p>
