£10B cyber security sector in the UK sees record levels of investment

<p>UK-registered cyber firms raised more than £1B external investment in 84 deals last year. According to the government data released on Thursday, foreign investors tapped into growth in competencies such as network security and threat monitoring. Immersive Labs, situated in Bristol, received 53.5M pounds in new funding, while Tessian, based in London, received more than 52M pounds. More than 6,000 new jobs added to the UK’s 50,000-strong cyber workforce.</p>
