Amazon, Microsoft, and Google are Subject to a UK Cloud Services Inquiry

<p>In the next weeks, the U.K.'s Office of Communications will investigate the market positions of Alphabet Inc.'s Google, Amazon.com Inc., and Microsoft Corp. as part of a research into the country's cloud-infrastructure services market. The regulator is also to investigate how traditional phone calls and texting are being affected by WhatsApp, FaceTime, and Zoom.</p>
