Businesses over globe spent over $50B on cloud infrastructure in Q4 2021

<p>Cloud services demand and usage are at an all-time high as global companies expanded their cloud infrastructure massively. The businesses collectively spent more than $50B on cloud services. For comparison, the spending was 35% more than in Q4 2020. The big three got a massive chunk of the pie. AWS took 33%, MS Azure got 22% and Google Cloud got 9%. The Covid-19 pandemic and the investment in metaverse are the main contributing factors for such high demand.</p>
