AIIMS to test robots to assist doctors, patients in COVID-19 wards

<p>AIIMS is set to test a 92cm tall robot in its isolated covid-19 wards. The robot can travel at 2.9kmph and record all activities using in-built 3D and HD cameras. It can facilitate patients interaction with the doctor, nurses, friends and family members via its digital 10-inch screen. AIIMS will also use an autonomously moving floor cleaning robot to sanitise the floors using a sodium hypochlorite solution without human intervention.</p>
