Fitbit Files Patent with Google for Blood Pressure Monitoring Wearables

<p>Fitbit and Google have filed a patent for a wearable device that can measure blood pressure. The device is expected to be a wristband equipped with sensors to detect changes in blood pressure and communicate the data to the user's smartphone. The patent describes a system that can use a combination of photoplethysmography, optical pulse detection, and pressure measurement to accurately monitor blood pressure. </p>
