Google is exiting IoT services market, contrary to what Microsoft is doing
<p>Google announced that its IoT Core service would be discontinued. The stated reason is that partners can better manage IoT services and equipment for clients. Microsoft, however, continues to expand its stable IoT services and further integrates them with Azure. The "intelligent cloud/intelligent edge" proposition made by CEO Satya Nadella is evolving into a more sophisticated end-to-end distributed computing play.</p>
