Turkey unveils its national electric car prototypes

<p>Turkey has unveiled its $3.7 billion electric car project, which plans to manufacture up to 1, 75,000 vehicles annually. As per the media reports, a workforce of over 4,000 people will produce five models of the car. Moreover, according to Mehmet Gurcan Karakas, the chief executive officer of the consortium, the project is expected to contribute $50 billion to the Turkish economy in the 15 years following 2022.</p>
